CAMRA is considered one of the most successful consumer organisations across Europe. Founded by four real ale enthusiasts back in 1971, today we represent over 190,000 members across the UK, run by an unpaid, elected National Executive and backed by a small core of professional executives with local volunteers. It speaks for drinkers everywhere in fighting to save pubs and breweries from closure, and in attempting to improve quality and to ensure pub standards are raised.
The Lincoln & District Branch, part of the East Midlands Region, covers an area approximately 15 miles radius centred on Lincoln, including Market Rasen, Tealby and Baumber to the east, Woodhall Spa and Leadenham to the south and westwards to the Nottinghamshire border.
